People ask me all the time, why I'm so quiet. I don't think most people my age understand what it's like to hear everything. When you actually close your mouth for more than two minutes, you can hear a lot. Watching people and seeing the way they interact with others is honestly really interesting to me. Believe me, at home I am a chatter box; my mom often tells me to shut up. But at school I just like to listen. I guess I'm kind of shy... I mean if someone approached me I'll carry on a conversation, but I think you can learn more about a person by how they speak to others than you can by what they tell you themselves. So, the next time someone asks me why I'm so quiet, I'll simply reply with, "I like being able to hear."
